My Story

Hi, my name is Patina Hoyka, the founder and creator of Balanced Bookkeeping Services. I enjoy assisting other small business owners take control of their finances through reliable, accurate and personalized bookkeeping. I began my career in the corporate world, where I had the opportunity to work alongside individuals that believed in professionalism, accuracy, timeliness and the importance of trustworthiness. It came to my attention that many small business owners struggled, not just with keeping their books up to date and accurate, but with understanding what the numbers really meant. I created Balanced Bookkeeping because I wanted to bring clarity and peace of mind to business owners who would rather focus on perfecting their trade and growing their business!

My approach has always been built on accuracy, transparency, and proactive support. I specialize in Quickbooks Online, payroll processing, have hands on experience with several other software platforms and I take pride in offering tailored solutions - not using a one size fits all approach.

Whether you are just starting out or managing growth, I'm here to ensure that your financials are in order and your questions and concerns are answered and eliminated.

Our Account Manager, Danyelle Thrap, is behind the scenes managing the day to day transactions, processing the payroll and reconciling the accounts. Danyelle is a Gusto Payroll Certified consultant and is available to share with you the benefits of using Gusto Payroll Processing. Danyelle enjoys managing your account, giving you the time back to market your business, bring in new clientele and grow your bottom line!

Our Services

Day to Day Transactions

We are availabe to process the day to day, in and out transactions, in all bank accounts, loan accounts, and credit card accounts.

We will categorize them accordingly - ensuring that your financial reports are clear and concise giving you a reliable resource for all financial decisions.

We will keep the same accounts "balanced" so that you are can see current outstanding loan balances, bank balances, etc.

Payroll Processing

We take pride in our confidential practices. We will receive timecards, review reimbursements, monitor vacation and PTO policies and process your payroll according to your pay schedule.

We will be happy to work with your Employees to answer questions, manage current addresses, walk them thru updating their deductions, etc.

We can provide Employee Onboarding, offer New Employee paperwork and will work with you to maintain a current Employee Handbook!

Reconciliations

We are happy to create customer invoices and receive vendor bills. We will process the bills, categorizing in Quickbooks, and then paying them.

We will perform account reconciliation against account statements on a monthly basis giving you the security of knowing the real time balances of bank accounts, credit card accounts and loan accounts.
